Worth the time- an interesting companion to the film
I've been listening to this podcast to help add some context to the experience of watching the episodes on TV, which taught me much about the lies and deceit generated by the government during the war... not that we didn't suspect it at the time. But to have it corroborated by actual taped conversations by the people in power, it is devastating... not to mention being currently relevant. Folks writing reviews whining about "vocal fry" and such minor issues in the face of such important content cause me to shake my head in disbelief. This is what we've come to? We're considering the horrendous travails of people suffering or dying in a conflict engendered by the vanity of men in power, and it's " vocal fry" that you react to? Bog help us, the spoiled children of the West.Read full review »

So interesting learning about the war. Thought I knew a lot about it, how little did I know.

Love the series but podcast not so much. I could listen to Burns and Novick discuss this doc for days but am finding the host’s questioning a bit in the shallow side. I don’t care about supposed vocal fry if commentary and analysis were more in-depth. Disappointing.
