Incredibly shallow and not what I had hoped for
If you want about 15 minutes of chat with Ken Burns about the making of each episode, you're in luck - this is it. But in a world where each hour long episode of Game of Thrones can support multiple 2 hour podcasts going into the "history" behind it, was hoping we'd get something more like that: a deeper dive into the history that they had to cut for time in the TV show. This is not that at all. Particularly sad given that episode 1 "covered" 100 years of Vietnamese history and all they could do here was 20 minutes on the production of the TV show. The Vietnam documentary itself is absolutely very important, and everyone should watch it. It’s amazing. This podcast, though, does not live up to that level of quality.
