Love the podcast, I work for the Montana DNRC in eastern Montana and was recently listening to episode 78 with Tim from JK boots and you said there’s only two causes of wildland fires, humans and lighting. I would also like to add coal seams, we get several starts a year caused by underground...Read full review »

Just listened to episode 99 and as someone who recently resigned after 7 years with the FS, everything in this episode rang true. Keep up the good work and keep the politicians feet to the fire it’s the only way we will get Wildland Firefighters the things they need and deserve.

I really enjoy the podcast. Great content and some really interesting people. I’m a structure guy and really enjoy hearing the stories and perspectives people have in the wildland community. My only knock is that I would like to hear more about guests detailed personal experiences on the fires...Read full review »

Just stumbled upon this podcast through a recommendation to listen to the latest episode with Ben Strahan. This interview was fantastic and could be applied to anybody, not just wild land firefighters. Ben is such an inspiring leader and a great speaker about what he has gone through in his life....Read full review »

The anchor point podcast has had some really good guests/topics and seems helpful for those new to fire. I think that it could use more serious interviews with guests who have lessons learned and fire line knowledge to share. Find some old timers! The host leans a little too heavily on bro-ey...Read full review »

I’ve been a structural firefighter and paramedic for almost 10 years in Central Texas and am just getting into the wildland side of things. These podcasts are really good. They’re filled with good info and insight into things that not only have to do with the wildland world but the structural...Read full review »

Definitely the best podcast about wildland fire and for ffs. A lot of insight and tools, and quality of show is constantly growing/evolving. Keep up the good work!

Great to hear something that is putting forward the real fire community not the pavement princess stuff you see on Netflix. Good insight and good fun

Love the podcast and the content but the volume is so low! I’ve played it through multiple vehicle speakers and have to crank the volume up to barely hear it

A podcast that is walking and talking the talk. Great knowledge and choice of guest presenters talking about life on the fireground. Listening and trying to pick up the differences, and similarities between US and Australian procedures, techniques and day to day life on a wildfire. Great to...Read full review »

Great content and can’t wait to listen to more! Audio could improve A LOT but I know it’s just starting out so I’m counting on that getting better.
