My ears quickly devoured the first two episodes and hunger for more! This podcast is a fantastic story of brave warriors of old and was written by a warrior of the modern day. The combat in the tale feels so authentic that you can feel elements of the authors own passion from his days in army...Read full review »

Very imaginative, creative and interesting to listen to. The reader literally paints the portrait of his story in his audio. Unfortunately it's been a while since he has released an episode, which is the only reason why I have not given him a 5 star rating. I will remain subscribed and wait for...Read full review »

The narrator puts emphasis on so many words that they lost impact. It was as if the manuscript had at least one word italicized in every sentence. Rather than making every sentence intense, this would just make a book more difficult to read. Combine this with the fact that he spoke very...Read full review »

John - your 2.5 years of podcasting has served you very well on the narration of this story. It is a compelling story and should do well as a podcast - a great concept for other book publishers to trickle out a suspenseful story a little at a time. My only comment is... I listen to them...Read full review »

Readers move through this genre on a torrid search for something special. Writers write because they know we are all looking for Tolkien again. This show does a great service of bringing The Ancient to a new audience! Love it!
