“The Ancients ranks among the best historical podcasts. Tristan is the perfect host - he is warm and engaging and always asks the right questions. Unlike many other hosts he allows his guests to talk and rarely interrupts or shows off to the audience. His passion for all things ancient really shines through. I particularly enjoyed the special episode of Alexander’s victory at Guagamela hosted entirely by Tristan - would be great to have a few more episodes like this!”
