NYT Shouldn’t Spread Counter-Factuals
As much as I respect the desire to portray all sides of an argument, it is disheartening to see Ross repeatedly make false statements and spread what is essentially fake news. The discussion with someone even further to the right than Ross that took up almost half an episode was basically just an echo chamber for extremist views that left me angry and disappointed in the New York Times and its both-sides-ism shown here. At least fact check the false statements made or this is no better than something like twitter or Facebook.

More reviews of Matter of Opinion
I’m a Democrat and reader of the NYTimes. I was pleased to discover how civil was the discussion among these three. Michelle is more radical than I imagined, and Ross more personable than I thought he would be. I look forward to each episode. It has enhanced my reading of the opinion page as well.

This is hysterical. Welcome to the bubble. The democrat wants to stack the Supreme Court and the republican wants to over turn Roe v Wade. Get yourselves out of a Washington DC and find out what’s going on in the real world.
