Advice without first hand experience
Gotta love hearing the input and advice from people who never experienced actual depression and bad circumstances talk about what works based on “research”. Unfortunately sunbathing and years of healthy eating and limiting junk food and exercise never helped. And sure SSRI’s isn’t something we want to be dependent on but how about seeing it as a bridge to the goal? Does a person healing from a leg injury not need crutches? Does a diabetic not need insulin? And the sneaky self promotion littered on top of the copious ads is overwhelming. And “it’s all in your head” only goes so far. I guess going through abuse, assault, discrimination, and poverty is “all in my head”. I just need to get some saffron and it’ll all be fixed! The MDMA mention was interesting, now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on it.
