“I just finished listening to the show on storytelling (super-great!) and I have to tell you that this podcast is completely changing my life. I never realized what an anti-social person I was. Really, I took an acting class and the teacher said, "Hey, look up and smile.". I was like "screw you" in my head, and I think I actually talked back to her in class. I decided to start looking up and smiling, and it's bizarre, but people actually smile back, and say hello, and it's the most natural thing in the world. Since I've been listening, I have struck up conversations with women in the train, on the street, pretty much wherever I am. I especially like the "babe of the day" and the "3 second" games. If I don't move quickly, my brain shuts me down. Just talking to women I'm attracted to is a huge accomplishment for me, and not just with women, but with whomever I'm around. I'm getting over approach anxiety I never even knew I had. I've gotten more action than I was prepared for and I notice myself backing off or sending mixed messages, kind of out of (bad) habit, but partly because I wasn't prepared for what was coming at me and I got spooked. I listened to the show where you guys were running up to women during the day. I can't imagine doing that. But it made me realize that my greatest successes are when I choose to go up to a woman who doesn't just happen to be next to me but going after what I want. I wish it had been around years ago-- then again, I was too stupid and arrogant to let it in. Oh well, you live, you learn. Thanks!!!”Read full review »
