Needs Improvement
I initially subscribed after reading favorable reviews and thought the concept was interesting and worth exploring, but the interview style is poor with the host often times chuckling to himself which in turn is louder than the guest because most interviews are done via telephone. While it tries to glorify the art of manliness it does so in a lackluster manner. It's not a bad concept but it needs work.Read full review »

Generally good, but a few of the episodes, such as the interview of Lionel Tiger, are reflective of a prejudice that doesn't seem in keeping with AoM's mission to bring about a culture of healthy and vigorous masculinity. The Art of Manliness always presents very professional interviews with a wide variety of experts. Every episode is interesting and engaging. I highly recommend it to anyone --not just men-- looking to better themselves or looking simply looking for a great podcast.
