Self-referential hagiography
Frankly, I expected something a bit more critical and less name-droppping. Bennett-Jones spends much of the time in the first 2 episodes trying to impress the listeners with his A-list friends and grossly uncritical view of the Bhutto family. I hope he shows his journalistic chops in the remaining episodes. Otherwise, this is a podcast for the Bhutto family fan club. This is not up to BBC standards.

I’m grateful for this podcast. I need something that is not centric to America. There is a big world out there not just about America. Thank you for this slow burn podcast. Let there be more. Thank you Owen and BBC.
