When you give people an audience who say they only want the facts taught in schools but say both sides of the history of slavery should be taught why don’t you ask them to explain what both sides are? Why not ask for examples of what specifically in the curriculum needs to be eliminated or to cite examples of what is being taught in kindergarten that is objectionable? You gave a platform to these people, giving them credibility without asking them to go beyond repeating generalities. How is that helpful?
