“The Atheist Experience has got to be the platinum standard for atheist advocacy. I recently became a fan of the Austin, TX-based show, and the audio-only podcast version is just as useful. TAE has so much in the way of substantive content and discussion about religion, apologetics, logic, a bit of science, and first-hand religious experience from former believers and life-long non-believers that this show is indispensible for any atheist. It should also be the first place any atheist sends a curious theist. I learn something every time I listen, and the only drawbacks to this show are the technical issues they sometimes have to deal with in their shared studio.
If you're looking for an atheist podcast that is substance first and commentary second, this is it. The hosts are some of the most knowledgeable atheists I've seen outside mass media, and if you've become interested in atheism based on books from Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, and Hitchens, this show takes all of that and gets down to practical level of detail. Very informative, you get to really know the hosts after a few shows, and you get to hear theist callers from a range of different religions call in and make fools of themselves against the aikido-like argumentative weaponry of the personalities.”Read full review »
