Description
www.autoimmunedocpodcast.com OMG where do I begin with toxins?!? This episode is just me talking about toxins and the problems associated with chronic toxin exposure. I share some opinions, I share some stories, I share some science, but the bottom line is that toxins are making us sicker quicker, and it's a TOTAL EXPOSURE thing, not simply this toxin or that toxin. It's your TOXIC BUCKET, and it fills drop by drop. In this episode I give a shout out to Dr. Jill Carnahan MD and her personal story with toxins (cancer, Crohn's, Mold...), I talk about toxins from fertilizers, golf courses, drinking water, hair and nail salons, glass work, even just my office tested high for formaldehyde from the carpet. I also talk a little bit about carnitine, the liver, genetics, and some of my interesting patients - mothers and sons, daughters, sisters, the similarity in their testing results and the genetics that they likely share, along with the environment. I don't think I talked about glutathione in this episode at all?!?! Don't worry, I will soon :) This podcast is just me talking about toxins and toxicity and not as much of a "lecture", but I think it's interesting and valuable content and I hope you do too. I also often think that if you heard some of the stories that I hear day in and day out, you would take toxins pretty seriously too!
