Good if you like ‘inside the Beltway'
After the Jonathan Martin episode, I am saying goodbye to The Axe Files. I knew the podcast tended to be insiders talking with insiders, which is interesting in itself, but after listening to Jonathan Martin put down Sen. Bernie Sanders as a n’er do well backbencher without challenge from the host made me realize that I don’t need to spend any more time listening to Beltway insiders incorrectly analyze what is going on in the rest of the country.

More reviews of The Axe Files with David Axelrod
I subscribe to a lot of different politics podcasts and David's tops them all. Such a great variety of guests who David always manages to extract something insightful and meaningful from. Top drawer.Read full review »

This is my favorite podcast. I love how Axelrod provides the guest's life history so you get a true sense of his or her perspective. This is not a flashy podcast but it is great so PLEASE LISTEN so they keep making it!Read full review »
