Brilliant and subversive
I went to a fancy schmancy college where we had Freshman Seminar. In Freshman Seminar we tried to apply crap like semiotics and symbolism to great works like Paradise Lost. This is basically a pair of guys analyzing the brilliant BSC books like 18 year old girls analyzing Paradise Lost. They pull out the allusions and the metaphors. I don't believe syndedoche has come up yet but I am waiting with breath that is bated. I hate everything and love this. Bee theory is a thing. I do wish they discussed the clothes more.
