“I’m new to this podcast. I was so excited when I heard about it. It sounded right up my alley as I loved BSC and SV as a kid and I love romance novels, plus I'm a sucker for recaps! Slam dunk…except, it isn’t. Most of the time I have no idea what these guys are rambling about (and again, maybe I’m missing some inside context due to being new, but this seems excessive.) There is VERY little actual recapping going on and I don’t enjoy their brand of humor, if that’s what you want to call it. Feels very bro-y and inside baseball. The tangents are off-putting. I listened to a few episodes but once they butchered The Viscount Who Loved Me, I had to be done. Amazing concept, poorly executed.”Read full review »
