Video games
Probably the highest praise I can give is that even the episodes that I put off listening to because they don’t immediately grab me from the description, are always worth the listen. (Please don’t pulp me for that). Games court is a banger format, I’ve listened to some of those episodes 2-3 times. Same with some of the more chaotic console draft episodes, they’re just competitive enough that it’s funny, and even funnier when one of them goes scorched earth. And the Phoenix Wright episode finally got me to play the games, finding a new series to love is what you want in a games podcast. Having read PC Gamer from around the time Samuel worked on it does add to it, but I’ve never read any of the Nintendo magazines and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything
