Why do people keep giving this fascist loser second chances. First C4 and now you lot.

Disappointing, I thought Neill was an incisive interviewer. These are bland, no challenging of assertions or probing of assumptions.

So good to have Andrew back.

Andrew puts the rest to shame. Powerful, combative, irreverent and unapologetic. A sheer masterclass in the art of the interview.

Really enjoy how Andrew Neil digs deep into the specifics of his interviewees arguments. Not enough interviewers do this. Great listening.

I echo Braggington’s review. Incisive and like a breath of fresh air. Lightweights take note of how it’s done.

Thrilled to hear Andrews voice again. Absolutely first class. I rate him as the best interviewer ever.

So one sided that it is basically propaganda

I wish Mr Neil had asked Ms Hill to speak slower. I don’t know if there was a time limit for the interview but Ms Hill was clearly in a hurry. Ms Hill is obviously proud of her humble origins in County Durham, as she should be. However, as someone who comes from a similar background in Merthyr...Read full review »

The best interviewer out there

Always had the greatest respect for Mr Neil, and loved everything hes ever been involved in. However his meltdown with GB News shone a light on his worldview. The interview with Fiona Hill demonstrated their hatred of populist politics, demeaning the votes of millions as something to fear....Read full review »

Forget the “great podcast from tortoise” AstroTurf reviews. Who mentions the podcast producer? Er, is it the reviews paid for (or written) by the producer? This is a bland podcast. Andrew Neill is past it. It’s not in depth, but one sided claptrap.

Washed up old Tory makes podcast as bland as his tv show

Fantastic series of interviews where you come away really knowing what makes the guest tick.

It was also really interesting to hear Petraeus’ opinions on both Ukraine but also Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Wonder who the next guest will be

Coming from Tortoise you’d expect it to be considered journalism but this is excellent in depth and insightful, I can’t wait for the next in the series, think this is going to become a real favourite

Have always been a massive fan and I’m delighted to hear a tortoise Neill collaboration. Slow news thinking meets forensic interviewer give me more please
