Potential
I'm so glad there's a podcast devoted to baking! But like some others, I wish you'd get to the baking much more quickly. I now see that you mark when the chit-chat wraps. Very helpful! I fast-forwarded to the content in the last two episodes I listened to. And still. So much less-than-captivating sister-talk. I'm several episodes behind, so maybe this has tightened up in the more recent episodes. I can only hope. Also, one nit-picky thing, and I'm almost ashamed to mention it. But since you're in the talk business ... we should address overused phrases. They're so distracting. When describing the steps in a technical process, please don't say "and then you're gonna want to do X" or "and you'll want to do Y" (or whatever it is) ahead of EACH step. I'm sure you don't know you're doing it. But I hear it a dozen times an episode for the more complex projects. While I greatly appreciate the insights into lamination, these verbal tics distract me so much. I can't be the only one. I'll keep listening. I see potential. And thank you for doing this.Read full review »

Creators of some of the best croissants and other baked delights I've ever had - they know their stuff...plus, listening to them chat is a lot of fun...especially while they're enjoying a glass (or two?) of wine. Subscribe, drag out your cookie sheets and learn from the best!Read full review »

Tried to listen and really found it completely unrelated to anything interesting at all......couldn’t get through the first half of the intro.
