Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who listened to this podcast. As one of the teenage victims of Bob Clarke, I believe this is a story that had to be told. Julie Ireton did an outstanding job, her caring and compassion toward all of us was genuine and heartfelt. I know the investigation had a significant impact on her and I can think of no one who could have done a better job. From the beginning of this journey with her I’ve told her she’s our hero for allowing the story to be told in such a careful and honest way.

I was riveted to this series. I’m feeling surprised at how little was done for the teenagers of the times, ESPECIALLY as we get into the 90s. I would like to know more about the psychology of the persons who perpetrate sexual abuse on vulnerable people and how they justify it.

This is an important podcast and really well done (although hard to listen to the subject matter). Why can’t the school board be charged for ignoring these crimes? The police? Mental heath hospital who also knew. I left this podcast feeling rage at the school board especially.
