This is one of the best exposes on why child abuse happens. As a survivor of my step father who taught music across many local private and public schools and exposed me to other music teacher paedophiles from Knox Grammar (which was exposed and investigated by the Royal Commission) I completely related. My abuser was not charged as not enough evidence but continues to teach despite the state awarding me 10k compensation. The pain knowing I could not remove him has been difficult but how can the state of one hand acknowledge his crime and on other continue to pay him and expose him to children. It’s a crazy system built to protect predators.

I’ve repressed a lot since then, and this podcast has helped to remind me how strong I was to come forward and to start to...Read full review »
