Toronto music teachers.
In the 1980’s I went to Winona school where Mr. Barnes the music teacher was raping boys, then I went to Oakwood Collegiate where Mr. Wishart was raping kids (he was charged and went to jail) Both were highly respected music directors and very trusted by parents. Both had cottages where “gifted” music students would be invited to. Parents would be so excited if their kids were invited. I am a female, so just got to witness this and hear the stories from the male students. This podcast is really interesting. I wonder why music teachers are so highly represented in this pedophilia arena. Maybe because classical music seems so squeaky clean.

This subject matter is so difficult and I think the host handled it with a great deal of respect.

A brilliant podcast, thoughtfully put together. Julie leads the podcast beautifully and shows great empathy to the victims. A must listen
