“These guys are very entertaining, and for the most part their friendship adds to the fun, much like their YouTube videos. However, sometimes it’s also their greatest weakness, distracting from the content to overplay the “we make fun of each other a lot” hand.
This was most clear in their 2021 Playoffs Second Round episode where Z could not stop making comments about Jesse being stupid, even though Jesse was not only making good points but had actually made better First around predictions than anyone else. Z doesn’t come off as funny but as mean. Made listening awkward, like you were watching two friends fight. Don’t need any more of that.”
