“Just relistened to a few Sliced Bread podcasts. I love the series and the ideas behind the programmes, but I can’t help being frustrated at times by the lack of breadth. For example - the one on dishwashers didnt say a word about removing harmful bacteria. My brother caught campylobacter from a contaminated supermarket chicken. Does soaking & washing up in cold water get bugs such as that off? Face creams - if you don’t use make-up, is it necessary to cleanse before moisturising? Why use sunscreen in winter in the UK when vitamin D deficiency is so common? Men don’t use moisturiser so why do women? What’s the consequence of not using it?”
