Great show idea, poor execution
Maybe the humor just isn't for me, but I don't understand why they laugh hysterically at Russ' voices. I can't even appreciate it as a parody of shows that use characters because they go on way too long. For a while I'd listen up to his turn and then turn it off, using the start of the next episode to figure out which game won the last week. It's a shame because the old Joystiq show was by far my favorite. I enjoy the views they bring and most of their attempts at humor, but Russ brings the entire show down when he interrupts legitimate discussions to interject with an utterly unfunny character. Ditch him, bring in Arthur or Chris Grant, and this show would be amazing.Read full review »

I appreciate that there's usually disagreement/discussion between the hosts, but they're always entertaining and joking around. Funniest podcast I've listened to, and they've introduced me to some pretty great indie/iOS games, too.Read full review »
