“I first heard the dulcet tones of Mr. Justin McElroy (Griffin too) on the Joystiq Podcast years ago, followed him to MBMBAM and am now listening to them here at Vox Games. I must say this first ep was a bit rough around the edges but the potential is there. The McElroy's have always been great podcasters, and I'm sure I'll grow to enjoy their new co-hosts just as much.
I like the idea of having each person talk about their favorite game of the week instead of the traditional games podcast rehash of news, new releases, emails, rinse, repeat, but I felt like the whole crew wasn't quite sure if they were supposed to be serious picks or just jokes. As much as I enjoyed the joking about an iPhone solitaire game, it started feeling a bit more like Just Riffin' than a serious games podcast after a while. I think you guys have tons of potential and I'll be happy to come back here and raise it to 5 stars once you all find your voice a little better.
