Great to be so frank and honest, from a 40 year old amateur who’s body aches 😂

Absolutely amazing podcast, love Big Jim’s style and approach. He has an engaging way of relaxing guests and opening them up. Find many of the episodes truly inspirational and have helped me through a few dark days recently, fantastic.

Having loved the banter on the Rugby Pod for years, finally decided to embrace ‘The Big Jim Show’ and loving it!! You can’t fake sincerity and authenticity and Jim’s disarmingly honest approach to all his guests makes for a really insightful and informative series of shows. Jim’s...Read full review »

Big Jim doing his thing really well. Always a great, often insightful podcast that keeps the listener coming back for more. Jim’s podcasting and his TV work are great, no longer Tier 2 media, up there with the best.

A lot of ex players turned podcasters, pundits etc tend to ask long questions and refer constantly to their experience in the process. This effectively reduces the space for the interviewee. They have nowhere to go except to confirm or contradict the interviewer’s assertion. But Jim is showing a...Read full review »

Jim played in one of Scotland rugby’s worst eras and never entered even a discussion about a Lions squad. Legend not, more leg end from Coventry.

Love this podcast. Big Jim is a legend and the best podcaster out there. I think the reason why he is so well liked is that he is down to earth and relatable to most of us every day people. Gutted to hear that you almost walked away from rugby recently, that would have been a massive loss. He...Read full review »

Authentic and open - brilliant from a great icon of the rugby world. His vulnerability and honesty brings the absolute best out of his guests. Probably the best 1-1 interviews in rugbyland 🖤

Couldn’t like a bloke more. Love his unpolished approach, means he asks questions like a normal person finding out the interesting stuff.

A brilliant podcast, Big Jim has a fantastic way about him that makes for a great show. The latest special forces one has to rank up there as an all time favourite of all podcasts I’ve listened to.

Recently came across The Big Jim pod and love it! He’s a genuine, caring, compassionate guy who divulges epic stories from his past and manages to get his guests to share their incredible stories. Have laid off the podcasts for a while as they can get a bit samey. However, saw that your man Jim had gone solo, so out of curiosity dove in with the Craig Doyle and Paul Gustard episodes. Highly enjoyable, informative and insightful. Jim is self-deprecating to a fault but he's a clever...Read full review »

Huge fan of Jim and he is a natural interviewer. Listens well and doesn’t let his ego get in the way. The Rhys Thomas interview was incredible - so moving. However I have a real issue with this obsession with growing the game. The focus should be on protecting it. We’re currently watching huge...Read full review »

Really enjoying the new Podcast. The guests so far have been brilliant, diverse and entertaining. Love what Jim said to Craig Doyle about having a Pod that doesn’t have too much agenda. The conversations have been interesting, funny, poignant and entertaining. Bravo Big Jim!

Stick to your strengths big Jim. Rugby banter and insight. Keep to the men’s Rugby game and tell us your stories - that’s what the Gen Pop want!

Just finished listening to the show with Gordon Smart, excellent stuff, would have been happy if it had gone on for another two hours. It’s good to have rugby people as a back stop but don’t restrict yourself to that crowd Jim, you’re a natural with all backgrounds so more of the same please. Had...Read full review »

Have listened to all the pods and loved everyone so far especially Deano. Maybe Jim could do a voice over at the end of each one as to his thoughts about the guest.

Big questions, big statements and you can hear a big smile through most of this podcast too. Loved the Lawrence D episode; two respected (bashed) brains coming in for a good chat. On the download list. (Get Maro in ASAP too!).

Jim Hamilton’s style switches from the fool guy to sharp rugby pundit, bringing out the best in his guests. A natural conversationalist, you’re drawn into the banter and stories during the hour of hilarity. So good, I think he can now boast ‘Dallaglio’ as his mate after his brilliant interview.

Great start with the Billy V episode, I always preferred Big Jim on the Rugby pod but stopped listening due to Andy Goode and his negative broken record of “Eddie out” “drop Farrell”
Andybmxart via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/02/23
It’s a good pod. It’ll live or die by the quality of the guests so I hope Jim’s WhatsApps are being well received. The Irwin Mitchell ad is about half the volume of the rest of the pod, which is pretty annoying!
