“Extremely deceiving episode of heat pumps as being carbon-free. The electric grid is powered by burning coal, natural gas, nuclear and very little by unreliable renewables (solar, wind, etc.). With electric vehicles predicted to bring down the electric grid if everyone got an electrical vehicle. Imagine in the middle of winter relying on heat pump. Texas like experience, No thanks. Don’t want water pipes all bursting and freezing to death in middle of winter.”
