“I’d been listening to The Daily podcast from the New York Times and the Global News one from the BBC for a long time and just hadn’t found a good Canadian equivalent. And then I discover The Big Story which was clearly inspired by the hugely successful New York Times property with its ability to leverage the massive NYT reporting staff.
The Big Story does the same with the sizable reporting staff working for the various Rogers properties albeit with a smaller budget. I love the format and find the host, Jordan Heath-Rawlings, engaging, personable, and perfect for the role. And producer, Claire Brassard, and researcher, Stefanie Phillips, clearly do an awesome job too given the quality of the finished product. I’m a podcaster myself and know what it takes to produce great quality in podcasting.
The NYT The Daily host, Michael Barbaro, or even some of the reporters come on to say that you can contribute to their podcast by subscribing to the newspaper, which I do. How can The Big Story listeners support your amazing podcast?
