Tearin' It Up!
This is a truly wonderful, informative, relevant podcast! Such a great find!!! We began planning our wedding this past November (2018) and were fortunate enough to stumble upon this podcasting gem soon thereafter. My partner and I began listening together and I'm so glad we did! Side note: my partner is obsessed with the theme song and dances along each time he listens! He also frequently, and quite loudly, asks if I've been tearin' it up... Needless to say, you are reaching the groom fan base and have become a household name... in our house at least! Christy & Michelle have a wealth of knowledge that they are willing to share. Since beginning my TBWPP binge in November, I have developed a running list of tips and tricks that I have picked up from these lovely ladies (currently on page 9). Thank you, thank you, thank you! Some of these little nuggets of wisdom and things that would have never entered my mind! Not only are these ladies providing super useful and practical information but they are also incredibly entertaining. As many reviewers have stated, these ladies have so much personality... it seems like I've known them for years. Listening to all the episodes gives you tons of wedding planning insight but also provides you with a glimpse into the close-knit friendship and bond these ladies share. Their candid way of engaging is not only refreshing... but real and relatable. These are two humans I'd love to grab drinks with and just shoot the breeze. This podcast is accessible to many "types" of wedding planning people. I am so happy that these ladies are not only looking to appeal to heterosexual brides... it seems there are huge chunks of the wedding industry that focus solely on this subsection of the wedding planning population and I'm thrilled to have found a podcast that is all encompassing and inclusive. We are also privileged to live in the Bay Area, a place where Christy & Michelle have planned many a wedding, so the resources they share are particularly relevant for us! We frequent a local hotel, mentioned by Michelle (even considered it for our special day), and have had the unique opportunity to benefit from contacting a number of local vendors and specialists that have been featured on TBWPP. Not only are the vendors... awesome but they are also totally accessible. Having heard some folks on the podcast prior to reaching out has helped to reduce some of the initial anxiety we were feeling when cold calling some vendors! Not only that but mentioning having heard their interview on TBWPP instantly provides some... conversation lubricant, if you will :) We even emailed Christy & Michelle about a little... hiccup... with our NYE 2019 wedding. Christy quickly got back to us, which I couldn't have appreciated more! She offered understanding, support, and useful suggestions! Thanks a million! We appreciate you SO much! Keep tearin' it up and we will keep listening! We love you ladies :)Read full review »

I LOVE this podcast. I started listening after I got engaged and skipped around listening to all the “fun” episodes (catering, budgets, backyard weddings), then when I was ready to get down to business started listening in order. Christy and Michelle have taught me SO MUCH about wedding planning...Read full review »

I love this podcast. The topics, discussions, and guests are amazing. I recently got engaged in June and this podcast has been super helpful for planning my wedding next year. The most helpful so far for me has been the podcast about "dumping" vendors and the photography podcast. I've...Read full review »
