“One of my favorite sportswriters, and I'm glad he has the ability to branch out and talk about more than just football. Getting the Leicester/soccer, basketball, and Bachelorette stuff has been fun; he offers nice input while never drowning out his expert guests. Mina Kimes makes for a great occasional co-host as well. I miss his podcasts with Mays (and hope Ringer & ESPN allow them to guest on each other's shows every so often), but hearing him in his own show and expand into other areas has been nice. ESPN has four podcasts I check for regularly, and Bill's is one of them. He enjoys what he's doing and is smart.
(Also, I really hope we get some spiritual successor to Bill & May's Under Siege 2 live commentary podcast from the Grantland days. That was so ridiculously wonderful. Whether it's Bill & Mina, Bill & Mays, or with someone else, I'd love to hear something like that again.)”Read full review »
