Still good although focus has changed
this podcast started as an expat's view of life in rome (well produced by ex-npr staffer katy sewell) from the perspective of a short term expat (sewell) and long term expat (tiffany parks). great topic, interviews, etc. but once sewell moved back to seattle, the focus has gone soft and many of the shows are not even related to the expat experience. that said, i still listen as i like the two hosts (and took an awesome tour of rome with tiffany) and enjoy the times the topic refocuses on expat life. as from the beginning, this podcast really benefits from having an experienced radio producer at the helm in terms of structure and keeping the meandering to a reasonable amount (something many other podcasts are woefully missing). check it out (and if tiffany is still doing tours after the baby comes, look her up when you're next in rome...well worth the price)!Read full review »

This podcasts consistently transports me back to Italy and helps me reminisce on past travels. It is possible for a podcast, and the conversations of two friends whom you’ve never met, to bring a smile to your face and instantly brighten your day.

I adore Rome, so I love the episodes where they talk about the history and culture of the city, but I find all...Read full review »
