“10. It's free!! Cheese is dang near $5 and $6, and up per pound!
9. Rod and Karen keep me laughing. Cheese tastes good, but I don't find it particularly funny, per se.
8. The podcast talks about sheer ratchedness and news that I wouldn't hear locally. Cheese doesn't talk. See number 9.
7. I don't have to worry about choosing an episode---they are all funny! But the wrong cheese in the sandwich can be icky. :(
6. Some cheese can be smelly. To the best of my knowlege, Rod and Karen don't smell.
5. The podcast goes with everything---road trips, working out at the gym, for help to focus at work and tune out the rigamarole in the background. Cheese doesn't go with everything. I don't want cheese in my sushi!
4. Rod and Karen are anti-ratchedness. Is government cheese almost the pinacle of ratchedness? (makes some of the best mac and cheese though, and if you say it doesn't, well, then, you don't have the cooking skills to make it all creamy and whatnot)
3. It is soooo easy to overeat on free cheese. Not easy to overlisten to Rod and Karen....I can listen to them all day!
2. Sometimes the cheese section at the supermarket can be a bit uppity. Last time I heard, Bo Jangles wasn't exactly upper crust. And I like things that are more down to earth, salt and butter on my grits, kind of real.
1. Too much cheese can cause constipation for some of us. All of the laughter that The Black Guy Who Tips Podcasts creates keeps my stomach muscles working doubletime! :) Laughter is good for regularity! Ha!!
Keep up the great work! Your podcast rocks! (Aka...Your podcast is off tha hook!! I gotta represent both sides, yo!)
Ps. My fave cheese is chedder, pepper jack, havarti, and blue cheese. Especially the blue cheese crumbles on your salad. Hey, don't knock the wonders of a great cheese on a salad...just kicks it up a notch, ya know? And when, oh when, when grandma and granddad stop buying iceberg lettuce? I love the zesty italian and maybe thousand island dressing, but we gotta stop at the iceberg lettuce!!”Read full review »
