Informative but bloated
The hosts are informed and engaging, and do a good job covering the subject TV show. However I do have a few criticisms. First, the podcast is almost always over-long and this is largely due to non-relevant banter and trips down rabbit holes. I can fully see how some listeners might find this amusing, but more often than not for me, I wish they would move things along. Second, the show is sometimes annoyingly non-crtical of "The Blacklist" TV show they are covering. "The Blacklist" is a show with more than it's fair share of plot holes, inconsistent characters and bad writing. Yes, I am a regular viewer, but that has not prevented me from noticing its weaknesses. Troy and Aaron usually paper these over in their discussions, which ultimately lessen the value of the podcast as an exploration of the show.Read full review »

These guys have a clever and organized way of breaking down an episode of The Blacklist. There are a lot of moving parts on this show and somehow they manage to help me walk away from the most recent episode with clarity! Great audio quality and well spoken individuals behind the mic.
