Great episode with Jerry Seinfeld. As someone who didn’t have cable when “Chappelle’s Show” was airing, the first time I saw or heard heard of Neal Brennan, was on “Comedians in Cars.” Which led me to Neal & Dave’s unbelievable stand-up specials — and to subscribing to “How Neal Feel” &...Read full review »

After reading some of these reviews, I sure hope no one is taking them very seriously. Follow your heart and the people will follow. Not ALL the people, just the ones that are meant to. Block and Blocks and Blocks and Blocks!

New listener, listening to David Cross ep. What on earth is that high-pitched squeaking sound effect? I don’t mind the sound effects in general, but that one churns my stomach and has basically driven me off from this podcast, despite the solid content and likable personalities.

I love the podcast! I wonder if Brian ever considered that he may be autistic… Much love to everyone out there!

I tune into the podcast because of the guests, so it’s really frustrating how Neal constantly interrupts them and tries to complete their thoughts, which is ironic because he starts each podcast explaining how he knows them, and it’s usually not very well.

I love this podcast. Great guests and conversations

I’ve always been a fan of both Neal and Jimmy Carr. Together, discussing their inner demons, they are perfection.

Podcasting is way over saturated with this type of content.

Ugh
For a comedian, Brennan can have terrible timing. He constantly drives a bus through his guests answers by asking another question. He is so impatient to interject that, depending on the moment, it’s either insensitive, crass or just plain rude. It’s so disorienting that, like a real bus crash,...Read full review »

Haven’t missed an episode. Funny, unfailingly candid. And, easily the best outro song in the game. Outstanding! E. Norma Stits

So what do you know, he’s also great podcasting! Can’t wait for Thursdays and a new episode, always know it will be entertaining and insightful, whether I’m a fan of the guest or not.

And raw and funny. Legitimately one of the greats. I just listened to the freaky Friday where Jimmy Carr interviewed him and writhing 5 minutes I was learning how to articulate stuff I’m going thru that Neil has tackled and started feeling uplifted and optimistic. That’s rare to find in a podcast.

The obsession with fairness is an autistic trait, as is having to remind yourself to smile. Love the show, my only complaint is how well read and researched you are on many types of recovery for nearly every issue except for eating disorders and orthorexia, which is essentially celebrated.

When are you going to get back to actual “Blocks”? My favorite thing about this podcast when I first started listening was how he had his guest send over a list of what they considered blocks and they went over them individually in depth. Now it’s reminding more and more of almost every other...Read full review »

I love the mental health aspect of Neal’s podcast. Some of them stray off the topic of Blocks, and just become interviews, but he does his best to get the guests to open up. I’m hoping he loses his constant need to interject his passive aggressive opinion and steadfast religion of the Germ...Read full review »

After watching his BLOCKS special on Netflix a 2 days ago I started looking for what else Neal was up to and found this podcast. I already can’t stop listening and have gotten through 3 episodes. Similar to the special, Neal is making me laugh and think.

So Mr. Koy & Mr. Brennan get into this hilarious bit@the end where they’re mock competing & Koy is roasting Brennan about the letter’s vices so Brennan asks the audience. So here’s my answer: Mr. Koy already understands the ground-up bootstraps approach. So I say again not even the...Read full review »

Not to judge a podcast by its thumbnail, but the new art isn’t doing you any favors. I’m sure you have access to branding and design pros. Previous thumbnail was way better.

I’ve appreciated and enjoyed all the episodes. Neal is a terrific interviewer and allows time to examine the blocks for each character. The Terry Crews episode is one of the best podcast episodes ever! Bravo…
