A Scientific Race of Staggering Importance
A spine tingling account of how a brilliant scientist became part of the race to obtain the secret of the atomic bomb. The sheer magnitude of the importance of this work is still hard to overstate or even comprehend. This well presented podcast draws the listener into a world before atomic energy existed and invites them to ponder the potential consequences of scientific advances and how personalities can affect events on a truly global scale. Something still entirely relevant today.
