Great listening
This is one of a few podcasts that I can't wait to download each time a new episode appears. Kate and Laura's conversations and interviews are really engaging and lively, but also to the point, carefully-edited and not too casual (I quickly tire of self-indulgent waffle by podcasters - life is way too short - and have unsubscribed from several literary podcasts for that reason). I love the range of books they cover - fiction/non, contemporary/historical - and the fascinating interviews. I was even tempted to read a Jilly Cooper novel after they interviewed the woman who runs the Jilly cooper bookclub - that's really saying something! I'm often itching to chip in and join the conversation. I've followed up on a number of their reading tips and recommendations, and passed them on to my own bookclub. And I'm just as grateful for the discussion of books that I will never get to ... they read them so I don't have to. Perfect. Keep it coming.Read full review »

So grateful they take the time to share their thoughts in this monthly podcast — I now have a running list of must-read-books, not to mention lots of books...Read full review »
