“I am a life long New Yorker currently living in the East Village. As an IT Freelancer / Musician, I visit different clients in various parts of the city. Many times I will happen to be in the neighborhood they are talking about in the Podcast I am listening to as I walk between jobs.
I often sneak off to see some of the scenes for myself (ex. Manhattan Well in SoHo) and instantly am introduced to another dimension hiding in a cracked alley of this amazing city.
And the characters The Boys introduce? Fuhgetaboutit! You can almost see Mary Rogers as she smiles behind the counter on John Anderson's Tobacco store!
