My Favorite Podcast
Remember that sketch on SNL when Anna Gasteir and Molly Shannon play NPR hosts? (Schweaty Balls?) This Podcast is a lot like that. Tom and Greg have great chemistry and really play off each other. As a native NYer I thought it odd that some mid-westerners should try and teach me something about MY city...but then I realized that as a NYer, I never go to a lot of the cool stuff in NY until someone from out of town comes to visit. Guess what... the Bowery Boys are the Out of Town visitors who make you aware of how great NYC is by going to all those places you've heard about, but never go to until they come to town. Like going to Disney World with a child, they allow you to see the city through new eyes.Read full review »

Thanx guys! I find this podcast refreshing, fun, interesting & most of all informative. Being west coast born & raised, I expected native New Yorkers thick w/accent & attitude... initially surprised but definetly hooked from pod # 1. I love this podcast. Keep it up!
