Are they going to continue with fractured? I feel like we have been waiting awhile for a new episode to come out? Bring back new episodes!!! I was enjoying listening to exposing injustices!

This story is perplexing! The Gwyneth and Joe Rogan endorsements - how does that happen? I like the way the journalist describes how he came to this story, and began digging. It’s quite the yarn so far.

1) Evidence of damage does not prove the cause of damage. 2) On the fractures not being a problem in the future—because they corrected the discovered deficiencies in all future treatments. 3) Premies are different in physiology from full term infants even disregarding any unknown congenital...Read full review »

Excellent podcast. Well done. Imagine if the police had done a proper job from the outset of this tragedy how much additional pain and suffering could have been avoided. Instead these families have been entrenched in their suffering as a whole conspiracy theory took hold, so easy to play the...Read full review »

Enjoying listening to this podcast. Feeling frustrated that everyone seems to have conflicting views, are not reliable, bickering amongst themselves . The pathologist seems totally annoyed and the police seem annoyed that Karen Jones is calling them out!!! Poor little guy…. No wonder they can’t...Read full review »

Mum called 555 car issues line cause the little guy was left in car. Then placed in pond. The sons helped cover that up with mum.

Season 4, I’m listening to the Fractured story. This is hugely important and well reported on. (I was not a fan of the previous series, although Ms Reid is an excellent reporter)

This reminds me of the brights in America The podcast about them and another family saved by a particular lawyer is called do no harm. The hospital removed the children due to alleged child abuse when the children actually had a rare condition.

Please increase the length of the episodes. They are too short to be impactful.

I’m subscribed, but unable to play season 4, frustrating as really looking forward to it

I’m heartbroken for this couple as I listen to the first instalments of this account. I can’t help but speculate on what is to be revealed but I must thank you and your team for yet again bringing sound investigative journalism into the mix, and highlighting what can only be described as another...Read full review »

I've listened to podcasts for a vey long time but this one has me on the edge of my seat for the RIGHT justice for that poor little boy. Thank you for bringing this to us the public, i hope all the lies will bring the demons to light.Read full review »

This is an excellent podcast which reflects very badly on the NZ police involved in this case. The impression left listening to the inquest was that the only thing they were interested in was absolving themselves from responsibility for a shoddy investigation. They didn’t seem to have any...Read full review »

I’ve really liked hearing the inquest in such detail, you don’t ever get to hear this and it’s been an treating exercise in how hard it is to sort the wood from the trees in an actual case.
MiniMum97 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/11/24
I’m impressed by how well this case is being presented. Sadly it demonstrates how much geography affects the level of service the population gets. The modern forensic developments available were ignored and the police reminded me of 1950’s NZ. Without a full confession from those responsible we...Read full review »

I’ve listened to True Crime podcasts for a long time now and this is in my top 5 for its intelligent, diligent, investigative journalism and presentation style in its quest for truth and justice. Absolutely gripping.

I await the book. It’s annoying not understanding the lingo. Everyone involved seems to be totally dysfunctional, including the police.

Really low key but skilled journalism. The people involved do the storytelling. Someone very close to the little boy is clearly lying. If you enjoy listening to a courtroom and lawyers you will love seasons 2&3. Minimal editing and the inquisitorial style of coronial proceedings makes...Read full review »

Well done Team on highlighting the systemic incompetence of the police in this case in such a professional manner. This is the type of info the public should be aware of. Can’t wait for the follow up and hopefully justice for Lochie and his family.

I’ve always been a fan of Melanie Reid’s work but I won’t be listening again. This podcast is about as one-eyed as a Canterbury supporter. The commentary on the Facebook page has caused harm to Lachie’s wider whanau & community. Unlike other media outlets, Newsroom has allowed abusive...Read full review »

Thank you for such a great podcast. It will have certainly have people thinking about all the errors in which this investigation has taken. It have never been a one sided investigation. Hopefully the truth will come out eventually.

On and on and on it goes. Whole podcast could have been half hour long. Sorry for the family.

This is a gripping podcast and they are many questions that need answering around the brothers and their mate who denied saying that the brother threw Lockie into the water. Why say that if it is a joke my opinion is he did say it and now regret telling anyone so he is back tracking. He is also...Read full review »

Such a sad thing for a family to go through but the last few episodes have been unbearable. The American woman’s voice is the worst. It’s like listening to a robot. I’ll keep following for updates but won’t be listening

Trying to listen to S3. Episode 5. The sound quality is so poor that for a subscription based model it should really have subtitles, or at least the whole thing read by an actor. Was a good podcast, but lots of repeating older episode stuff through the new episodes to ‘catch people up’. The podcast itself is good and I’ve listened to every episode but why bring in the subscription and ads every 5 minutes. Why ruin a good thing.

The courtroom audio in season 3 has been terrible, not even audible. This is a medium of sound. If you can’t understand what is being said, there is no point. It’s incredible this is an issue that even needs to be mentioned.

I have just finished episode 13 🤯😢 It is very clear Paul is a man who loved his son deeply. He handled himself extremely well, That police representative should be ashamed of himself. Vilifying a man who lost his son in these circumstances and considering what we’ve heard so far is unreal.

I have followed this even when Guilt wanted to do it, and have listened to every episode intently, but am very disappointed that you change the name, you change the game, we now have to pay to hear these episodes WHY, don’t bother, another podcaster will cover it, I’m out
