Great discussion on current political events in Canada, Pter is a fantastic host, and Chantelle always has great insight in a way outside of the mainstream

Another fabulous conversation about what’s going on in the world regarding current happenings, policy insights, and political backgrounds. Peter leads the chatter and Janice brings in the expertise with a side of putting the Mansbridge in place 🙃.

It’s the number one political podcast in Canada for a reason. Thoughtful and engaging discussions, and perspectives from across Canada and around the world. The bridge is a daily must listen! You know you’re doing a good job when you go away for the summer and people write in about how much...Read full review »

Is there anything else other than Moore/Butts to play?

Enjoy the content. Chantal sounds like she is talking into a tin can inside an echo chamber. Bruce is a little better, but not great. Please spend a little time and effort on improving the sound quality for Bruce and especially Chantal.

Thanks Peter for your show’s thoughtful commentary on what’s happening in Canada - and on how world events affect our country. Janice Stein’s pithy analyses are invaluable during these confusing times. She is a compelling speaker and a great resource. Also very worthwhile - Canadian politics...Read full review »

Thank you for covering this new development on governmental investment into defending and protecting the Arctic corridor. Perhaps now, more Canadians are more aware of just how vulnerable we are as a country. I live in the North, this issue is very concerning to all of us.

I enjoyed this podcast for a while, but honestly, they seem incredibly disconnected to the challenges people under 50 are facing in this country.

Just discovered this podcast to my absolute delight. Peter and his guests speak frankly and so intelligently about Canadian national and international issues that I feel as if I’m attending graduate level seminars covering the latest news, with critical historical perspectives. Thank you Peter...Read full review »

If you’re looking to hear all your thoughts and theories of what’s happening in Canadian politics and world events repeated back to you. Then this podcast isn’t for you. Been a fan of Good Talk but increasingly becoming hard to listen to. Panel lacks balance and Bruce is simply incapable of criticizing LPC or Trudeau. Makes listening tedious. A centre/centre right voice is urgently needed. If you need an example of a more balanced panel, listen to Curse of...Read full review »

I was hoping this would be a podcast to bridge people, but it’s just not. The leftist bias is just too much. The Good Talk is here, but the Better Talk is elsewhere.

Justin has stood with and shaken hands with homophobic world leaders. PP was not present with Tucker. Call out Justin ! Last episode I’ll listen to

James Moore should run for the Conservatives. I still wouldn’t vote blue but he’s clearly a very James Moore is intelligent, well spoken, pragmatic and personable. He would make a good leader of the Conservatives.

Great podcast and informative but I wish it was more balanced and had more conservative opinions and viewpoints. This is a great place to get a feel for how left leaning media views the political landscape in Canada.

Just another Liberal spin mouthpiece constantly looking for excuses for Liberal incompetence and blaming everyone else.
EricEder via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 01/23/24
I tried this pod a few times, but the interview quality is horrible and almost unlistenable at times. I also think someone needs to write Mansbridge a better script for his intros - they tend to ramble and not really offer any depth on the topic. Maybe they will hone all of this with time, but...Read full review »

Chantal’s bias is too painful. She is not being fully honest - there are bylaws in the cities in Quebec that dictate restrictions. That is not a Legault/ provincial point of attack.

Utterly vapid Liberal propaganda. And boring to boot. Avoid.

If you are a far left progressive or brain dead this podcast is for you. It’s the CBC on steroids. The only redeeming quality is that this podcast shows why elites in Canada are so incapable of understanding ordinary and non ideological Canadians views. Because they live in a bubble.

I liked Peter on the CBC. I always had my suspicions he was a Liberal, and that’s ok. But wow, this podcast shows him to be a total and unrepentant Liberal hack. The podcast is good if you want to gauge what your typical Liberal elite is thinking. But at this point they’re plagued by such...Read full review »

Love the show, and I’m especially grateful to Bruce Anderson for labelling all the discourse I’m too stupid to judge for myself as “misinformation”. I enjoy all sorts of podcast. The Bridge appeals to me because it takes down the temperature on issues via reasonable discussion from informed participants. I’ve admired Mr. Mansbridge’s work for decades and am glad to listen to him here.

Mansbridge challenges his audience with the foundational questions facing Canadians, while delivering often prescient insights. Five stars.

My good lord I’ve never listened to such liberal bias in my life. If you want some middle of the road, interesting talk move on. Mansbridge never disappoints.
