“I really, really want to like this podcast. The story and ideas are wonderful, the characters are emotional and complex, and the lore is amazingly intriguing and pulls you in....but there are so many reasons it’s difficult to listen to. There’s a bunch of weird, overused sound effects, some characters have notably worse audio than others, and, worst of all, a lot of the time it’s impossible to tell what’s going on. There will be some incomprehensible sound, a character will say something vague, and nothing will be described well enough. That’s one example of how something might go. It’s infuriating, because I love the story, but it’s so hard to listen to. This could be great. But it isn’t.”
