Labour's long-awaited new deal for workers has finally been unveiled, and in true Starmer style it seems to be a deal that pleases nobody, with businesses in despair and unions saying it doesn't go far enough. But with a new report from The Institute for Fiscal Studies claiming that £25bn of new taxes will also be needed to keep public services going - doesn't it all feel a bit 1970s again?
