I listen every morning as I walk my dog - my absolute favourite podcast. Balanced, thought provoking, always decent - serious when it should be, amusing when it can be. Pushes me to justify (or change) my opinions which I love. Camilla & Kamal share great rapport & clearly admire and...Read full review »

This is now my go to programme everyday for an insight into the days news. It’s always interesting, informative and, often funny. I love the dynamic between Camilla and Kamal who offer differing perspectives. Keep up the good work.

I consume a lot of political podcasts and recently come across the daily T. I am finding the Camilla and Kamal’s analysis and interaction is more interesting than most other similar podcasts. I really like the way: They do not have the same views and can disagree with each other They have people...Read full review »

Listen to what Trump has said about what he intends to do if re-elected, and then re-listen to your comments on the “Trump fascist” show…… they are ludicrous! Telegraph is great for Rugby Union coverage…… nothing else, especially NOT objective analysis, insight or commentary on politics on either...Read full review »

Doesn’t it seem that Mike Lynch was murdered? What are the odds. I mean. Just saying.

11 October 2024 This was the episode in which I finally went into the app to ensure I wasn’t subjected to receiving this podcast. Since I first listened to it, I always considered it to be the Telegraphs attempt to be a one nation, broad church …. Blah blah blah - Much as we saw during the...Read full review »

There are many news podcasts I listen too but The Daily T chimes with me in a way the others simply don’t. I love the no nonsense commentary from Camilla, the well-explained-everything from Tim and all the other contributors representing British values and perspectives. Keep up the good work you...Read full review »

Kamal Ahmed is unbearable with a supercilious elitist attitude and who loves to churn out words like “bigoted” and “xenophobic” to smear anyone who is critical of the unprecedented massive scale of immigration much of which has no intention to integrate and hates Britain and Britons. In general this pairing gives you a really balanced point of view on the world.

As an American, this is my favorite UK news podcast. Generally, they have thoughtful criticisms of the powers that be in a easy to follow conversational format. I will say that sometimes the audio quality could be better and sometimes they will spend an entire episode nitpicking.

They seem to see it everywhere rather than asking tough questions. It can be good, but has gone woke.

Ella Whelan’s analysis overlooks that power relationships between groups in society are often genuinely asymmetric and that sometimes you need to clearly name things - like misogyny - to address them. Sadly her apologist libertarianism has the effect of enabling unacceptable behaviour. Feminism...Read full review »

I have just listened to your excellent interview with Emma Webber - what an amazing lady. Not withstanding the horror of what she and the other families have been through and her calmness and clarity in speaking about it, yet again, it seems that ‘the Establishment’ have behaved disgracefully...Read full review »

Overall it can be balanced but it can’t wait to have a go at the BBC. Pitiful really and unsurprising from the Torygraph
MartyFarty via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/13/24
This interview was deeply moving, I completely agree that Emma is so eloquent and inspiring. The interview was handled tastefully as well. Having watched Panorama last night I was disturbed by the valid points that were ignored by the BBC.

Guys .. can I say how much I enjoy the podcast and your generally balanced narrative However I have to take issue with your comment that a Muslim in the street wearing a hoodie and mask shouting Alluh Aknvar is the same as a Christian shouting hallelujah This is disingenuous. Listened to a few now and undoubtably biased and with no idea what us poor people out in the sticks really think. Typical London metropolitan attitudes and interviewees coming through thick and fast. Love this daily update. Great timing at 5pm when cooking supper! I loved Tim Stanley as Co presenter with Camilla. He is so funny and insightful. Liked him better than Kamal I have to say.

Gordon is a breath of fresh air, inciteful without being partisan. Kamal I find too London centric and completely divorced from the average guy in the street. Camilla you might want to think of keeping this present partnership and ditching the old one.
Crocsimia via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/04/24
AGAIN, bias and intolerance towards Farage and Robinson - maybe you should interview them; they very much represent many in the UK who are angry about being ignored, stabbings in the streets, machete wars, children murdered in what should be safe spaces, government-supported theft, BBC...Read full review »

If you’re looking for a “Good Morning, America!” Chit-chat around the news in Britain, this is your podcast. Listened to a good few of these now. Probably won’t listen to anymore after all the tripe about football (who cares), and generally needs more reportage of the facts from the Telegraph, and less interpretation from KA. Don’t want fairness from the DT, just the facts. CT good.

Andrew Parker was an undercover actor it’s not even clear that he was a member of Reform. He is not a candidate. No candidates have been making racist comments while campaigning in Clacton. Find this pretty dull - which is surprising given the high quality of for eg Planet Normal. Maybe format better suited to weekly than daily.

This has fast become my go-to daily news podcast. I find it informative and balanced. Cutting edge political podcast… “first question prime minister, how do you like your tea?”… after 6 mins of the latest episode I’ve discovered the PM wants to meet George Lucas and likes country music. C’mon guys, you’re better than this.

I’ve always been a big fan of Camilla so great to see her start a fair, balanced and well informed podcast with Kamal. The guests are insightful and add to the podcast rather than just fill air time. I’ve listened to most of the episodes and found them very enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next one!

Logic behind the decision to go early was not explained and this appears to be a podcast purely driven by a support for the Conservative Party? I wasn’t expecting this from Camilla who has previously expressed so much dissatisfaction with Rishi?
