The Met Police officer who shot dead Chris Kaba has been cleared of murder. Armed officer Martyn Blake fired a single shot through the windscreen of Kaba’s car when he tried to escape after being stopped by police in September 2022. Elsewhere, moments after delivering a speech at Parliament House in Canberra, King Charles was heckled by Aboriginal Australian senator, Lidia Thorpe, who yelled: "This is not your land, you are not my King."
