“I have appreciated this format for news and current events however there is a colossal history of anti-Black systems and structures in the US (and Australia) that has been completely missed. To describe this current moment as scary is true; however it seems unfair for 3 white journalists to tell Black people to protest more politely to perhaps send their message - they’ve been doing that for centuries, and are still being murdered. As a white Australian living in the US, I was hoping for more nuanced journalism from the briefing - I think you can do better in telling this very complex story.”
