It’s like I’m there with them
This podcast has made me laugh, cry and ponder the structure of our society and the way we treat others. It feels wrong to call it a podcast when it almost feels these characters are real people. Over the past year I’ve lived through their experiences, and they’ve been there with me through mine. We’ve grown and had good times and had some absolute rock bottom moments too. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt a piece of media reflect my experiences so genuinely, and from such a place of true understanding and sympathy, through every single character. And do it all so creatively at the same time! The sci-fi elements manage to blend seamlessly with the down-to-earth nature of this show, in a way that kept me engaged the whole way through. It can be a psychological horror or a crime thriller in one moment, and a romantic comedy the next. Which is a testament to how fleshed out and real the characters feel - I mean real people aren’t one dimensional so why should fictional ones be? It shows that no person is purely good or bad, that everyone deserves to be given a chance to grow. There’s an incredible sense of catharsis when the characters work through their own issues, but I appreciate that this show always encourages you to look out for yourself and find help if you’re struggling with your mental health. Thank you for making me feel accepted, included, and understood in a time where nothing else would.

I thoroughly enjoyed season one, which comprises of the first 9 episodes. It's about people working through their developing supernatural abilities and a therapist helping them control their abilities and cope with their day to day lives. Plus... well, something we haven't found out yet!...Read full review »

I love radio plays, this show doesn't have all the background noises of a serial drama like The Archers, but there are some. The show is engaging- the quality is high, the actors are really good. I am hooked.Read full review »
