“This podcast is an example of why I am becoming increasingly detached from left wing politics. The sneering at and smearing of (by labelling as “far right” or “misinformation”) any opinion which differs from the predictable suite of identikit regime-approved beliefs and the, at times, staggering self-satisfaction on display makes this an irritating listen. This applies to most of the hosts, but particularly Alex Andreou and Marie Le Comte, who, if they were made of chocolate, would eat themselves.
I listen to a range of pods from across the political spectrum and I have to say that for a production that is so conspicuously and performatively woke, The Bunker is remarkably mono-cultural with its seemingly inexhaustible roster of camp sounding white guys and lisping millennial and Gen Z uber-posh public school garls telling us how the world works (or, rather “how the warld warks”).
And one last thing, the unending obsession with Elon Musk is getting really boring. We get it - he took your toy away, you all hate him and want to see Twitter/X shut down, but do give the snarkiness a rest. PS: I just listened to the interview with Ryan Broderick and genuinely lol’d at the idea of someone so thick and devoid of his own ideas that he was sacked for plagiarism claiming that Musk isn’t clever. Good one. I didn’t realise this was a comedy podcast. 🤣”
