I thought this podcast might be intelligent but it misses out soooo much.. it’s full of words strung together which sound like they mean something but there is depth! Very little truth no deep dives.. there is too much missing for it to act mean anything just a load of word salad! Extremely...Read full review »

A good little daily dose of something interesting. Sometimes a challenging listen from a different perspective, but never boring. Start the week on a Monday is always a must.

This podcast is an example of why I am becoming increasingly detached from left wing politics. The sneering at and smearing of (by labelling as “far right” or “misinformation”) any opinion which differs from the predictable suite of identikit regime-approved beliefs and the, at times, staggering...Read full review »

Stopped listening when you did what the BBC have now stopped doing and quoting the Hamas figure of 40K deaths without pointing out that half of them are Hamas terrorists. You also omit the very low combatant to civilian ratio of 1:2 which you all know is lower than Iraq, Islamic State, Dresden...Read full review »

I listen to podmasters podcasts (Oh God What Now, Origin Stories etc) to get a view from the centre. I don’t always agree with the viewpoints but I’m always open to new perspectives and ideas. I’m what would be considered to the listenership far-left because I want things like publicly owned...Read full review »

Alex Andreou is a gem and just so good for British and especially European Analysis and Mondays Bunker is my go to place to start my week. Puts everything else I hear into context.

Fantasy book written by an ‘ex-pat’ whilst living in 2 British former colonies. It doesn’t address what the writer pretends it does. Very biased and basically cherry pickings by an Englishman. Raphael was bland with no relevant questions. Unusual from such a fantastic podcast.

The bunker started off just before the pandemic really came into view, from the team that brought you Remainiacs. That became Oh God What Now and for some time the bunker consisted of panel episodes, but additionally also daily episodes on selected topics. In its current format the episodes are...Read full review »

Fascinating episode by Seth and team with Richard Bourke on Burke and just this week on the miners’ strike with Robert Gildea. Really like these types of episode in particular in a consistently very high quality podcast, which always starts the week well.

Great 30 min explainers. Listen to probably 80-90% of episodes. Look forward to Alex’s cheerfulness on start the week on a Monday.

I am a fan of gavin esler and is normally erudite comments and thoughts but I found his latest interview with Sarah isgur to be biased, given her background and patronising. The USA just will not accept that it is not a ‘true’ nor ‘best’ democracy and their blind belief in their broken systems...Read full review »

Appalling episode with Sarah Isgur. She is SO biased in Trumps favour and throws doubt about all Trumps legal cases. One example. E Jean Carrol. It was ruled that Trump committed digital rape and that he defamed Carrol. He defamed her again after it was ruled he had committed rape. It is clear...Read full review »

Content really interesting but just couldn’t listen to the entire podcast because of every sentence littered with the word like. Please if you can’t manage a sentence without like. Think of your listeners and edit it out.

Yes I know you will dismiss me but there were soooo many holes in the ad guys premise - really. Of course there are strands of truth but wow what a load of crap. What’s this for to do with the podcast ?

Used to love this pod, now tired of the endless snark. And the attacks on Sunak veer uncomfortably close to racism.

Found a recent discussion of vaping (sorry, can't remember episode number) very disturbing. Pushing vaping is the latest attempt by big tobacco to create a market to replace declining cigarette sales. Vapes, aggressively marketed to the young, are in many cases much more dangerous than...Read full review »

So good to hear humane arguments for the protection of asylum seekers. Grateful to listen to a politician with a moral compass and to hear that compassion still exists in some places in politics.

I am a OGWN Patreon backer since the very early days and love the bunker too, all are must listens for me. I do have a problem, however, with Jacob Jarvis whose way of speaking is intensely annoying. Richard Murphy on the Bank of England left me feeling incredibly stupid. His simple explanation of how money is created and how the Government and the Bank of England interacts was far from ‘simple’. As in his job, so this most recent, Johnson fails to be original and lifts other writer’s ideas. The Cincinnatus trope was used by that other bad-boy, Byron and is associated with that other politician, Washington. As usual, the cheating, lying Johnson pulls distracts a less than critical media…

Please guys why indulge in sports on this podcast when there is so much happening in politics and current events. Really quite a boring and pointless segment. There is so much sports reporting what makes you think we want it here?

The bunker is a really good podcast, generally speaking. But there are times when the format is stretched too thin. A good example is this week’s Gen Z show, hosted by Jacob Jarvis.
