The Bunker is a stimulating and intelligent podcast that has become a daily enjoyment. It supplies something that I used to find on BBC radio 4, an uninhibited & detailed analysis of current affairs. It doesn’t tread carefully to avoid government disapproval and invites a wide range expert...Read full review »

Surprisingly consistent. Awful theme tune though. The Saturday Culture Bunker is the weak link.

Brilliant podcast and OGWN as well. Very comforting to listen to sane, intelligent and rational conversation, and I learn so much. You’re all fantastic, and I really want to say - I love Alex Andreou!!

This is one of my daily must listen podcasts, a great mix of humour, information, sanity, thanks you so much to all the presenters and the support staff

I never miss an episode and you never disappoint. Thank you 🙏🏻

The bunker dailies are great with their wide variety of flavours and breadth of guests. The Tuesday panel show gives a good deep dive on some current topics and is often very amusing as well as informative. The Saturday ‘culture’ bunker is an unfortunate miss, however. I suppose it is...Read full review »

Top-notch comment and discussion on politics and more in the UK, as that poor beleaguered construct suffers through the consequences of leaving the EU.

I always listen to your podcasts and have done since the days of remaniacs but I have never written a review before. I just love the bunker and oh god what now they are always interesting informative and funny presented by people who now seem like old friends. This morning (11th January) I...Read full review »

Have been listening to the podcast Oh God What Now for some years now. Unashamedly remain focused this podcast has branched out from banging on about Brexit to cover a wide range of political ground through a liberal/centrist ‘prism’ (AA) The presenters are knowledgeable, witty and seem...Read full review »

Excellent clarification of the causes leading up to the 90's Balkan conflict and a fascinating appraisal of the current situation and its likely outcomes. Also an impressive debut from Jelena Sofronijevic.Read full review »

I am really warming to this. Each one covers such a disparate range of topics - most of them are fascinating, absorbing, often funny too. The ones that don’t grab me? I skip them. I’ve done that once so far, out of months of listening. It’s politics, society, culture. I loved the Dune review!...Read full review »

When a podcast refers to us being “post covid” in its introduction, despite there still being over 1,000 deaths a week in the U.K. from the virus, there is no point in listening any further. Almost sociopathic in its lack of empathy.

You guys have kept us in touch and sane all through the hell of Brexit and Covid. Thanks

It’s great to hear the diverse view of opinions on the podcast and I enjoy the conversations immensely. Once and a while, it does feel isolating. Alex Andreou, whom I very much like, recently interviewed Dr. Steven Pinker. It was an excellent interview, but I did feel at certain points that they...Read full review »

‘The kids aren’t alright’ is a must-listen for parents. The ‘county lines’ discussion brought to mind ‘Who killed C J Davis?’, a series that won the 2021 British Podcast Award in the True Crime category. Frightening that Covid should have increased that particular danger area for our children.

Always informative and funny. A great way to educate yourself about what’s going on. Definitely worth giving your support by subscribing. Thank you ‘The Bunker’.

The Bunker is one of the BEST current affairs podcasts out there! Always informative and interesting, it has a great array of interviewers and superb guests I've never come across before, but will certainly take note of now. Even episodes that looked less interesting (at first glance) turned...Read full review »

Amidst the media noise it’s a relief to listen to political discussion that is actually very balanced, looking behind the spin. Great culture supplement too!

Came for the Ian Dunt cursing, stayed for the brilliant political insight.

As a follower of Remaniacs (now OGWN) I started listening to the Bunker from the start. Many of the same people, certainly the same insight and humour into the mad world we find ourselves living in! And often utterly fascinating topics I’d never have thought to listen to. The history of the Index...Read full review »

Too many adverts now. If you can’t afford to produce daily without 5+ mins of adverts on a 20 min show, then don’t do it. Disappointed with where this podcast has gone and beginning to skip episodes.

Not sure on the politics of this marriage, but it ain’t working! Now I get daily podcasts I do not want to listen to, but worse still Bigmouth has gone downhill. I do hope it improves on Andrews return as last weeks was awful.
Kidneybeanish via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/22/21
I was a fan of bigmouth but todays second episode of the culture bunker was tedious in the extreme. The Greek guy was particularly annoying. Also disappointed bigmouth would align itself with smug centrists, novara would have been a better fit.

Brilliant episode about the dangers of getting stuck in your own echo chamber, thinking you can change your views even though you don’t. Come here for help.

A really entertaining and inspiring podcast. I was a fan of the Remainiacs Podcast and am enjoying this one as well. The interviews by Alex, Dorian and Nick are exceptionally good. Very often highly interesting guests.

Not as good as it used to be. Mainly book promotions & smug pontification these days. Naomi & Alex are ok. Lots of generalisations about what happening in the UK when actually only talking about England. I can go back to loving the program. Now, if they could just get rid of that music. Could it be? is it even possible that someone somewhere listened? nah, just a coincidence, love the new music, it wasn’t even faded in and out during the interview, excellent!

Enjoy the podcast and I’m not Mary Whitehouse but why does Ian feel the need to swear the whole time? It’s unnecessary and distracting.

Always interesting and enjoyable. Major irritation is extreme use of ‘f’ing as descriptive adjective by I D- hence 4 rather than 5 stars

Sure it’s slanted to the left, but being of right wing blood, it’s good to get a balanced fresh viewpoint. Andrew Alex Roz Ian come out with unique moments of brilliance and wit in unexpected ways. Coming back to this podcast after an absent-minded break, I really enjoyed the Bozilla episode. Superb analysis and vibe. Insightful, funny and challenging. Dunt reigning supreme as ever. Keep it up team - each episode is incrementally making the world a slightly better place.
