“I've never met her before, but Heidi St. John is my mentor. I ran across her at a homeschool conference in Ontario, CA. June of 2014 and didn't realize the jem I missed until after the conference. I bought the conference CD, as is my usual habit, so I could listen in later and free myself from any self inflicted pressure to run from seminar to seminar. My heart was in great need of renewal that summer and was seeking spiritual refreshment. As I looked at the many speakers included that year, Heidi stuck out to me because her focus seemed to be on a mom's heart and not methods. I was very blessed to listen to her and when I finished all her seminars on that cd, I wanted more. I quickly bought her Guide to Daylight, which I have passed on to many friends since. Later that summer I stumbled onto to her podcast, which I quickly binged my way through. I was sooooo sad when I realized that she was no longer putting out new ones at that time. So I went back to the beginging and slowly went through each one with my bible open to relaunch my own personal daily quitetime. God has spoken so much truth to me through her over the past year and a half. I was almost through with going through each one of her original podcasts when slowly and savoring each one when she relaunched her podcast a year ago.
Since the relaunch last year, which soon after included the intoduction of Durenda Wilson, I have felt as if I have been having some girlfriends join me for coffee a few times a week. God speaks through these women, I am soooo encouraged by them. I frequently pass along there encouragements by sharing individual podcasts with my friends from time to time as God brings one of my girlfriends to mind while I listen to them. Now there are a bunch of us in my pocket of the world that listen in... recently one of my girlfriends quoted Heidi to me and I smiled as I knew where the thought had originated from that week. Thanks Heidi and Durenda, you are blessing to all of us.”Read full review »

“I'm a young mom "in the trenches" of training young children and homeschooling. These women tell it like it is. They are REAL, they're funny and they base their advice and opinions on the word of God (a foreign concept to many of today's "Christian" leaders.) I love...”Read full review »
